Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rememios website, language-learning content, exercises, practice features, videos, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About Rememios

Rememios is an independent language-learning service that provides structured lessons, exercises, practice activities, videos, and other educational materials for learning languages, including Czech and Spanish.

2. Eligibility and personal use

You may use the Service only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws that apply to you. The public Rememios website and its educational content are intended for lawful personal learning use unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. Educational content

Rememios content is provided for educational and informational purposes. We work to make learning materials useful and accurate, but language usage can vary by context and region, and we do not guarantee that every item will always be complete, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not interfere with or disrupt its operation, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, circumvent technical restrictions, use the Service to violate applicable law or third-party rights, or use Rememios in a way that violates the rules of a third-party platform with which the Service interacts.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Rememios-created text, graphics, exercises, videos, software, branding, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Rememios intellectual property to you. Third-party names, trademarks, content, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Third-party services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Your use of a third-party service is also subject to that provider's own terms, privacy policies, and other rules. Rememios does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their independent practices.

7. TikTok integration

Rememios may use TikTok developer services to support authorized publishing of Rememios educational video content to TikTok. Any TikTok-related functionality is also subject to TikTok's applicable terms, policies, permissions, and platform rules. Rememios will request only permissions needed for the enabled functionality. Rememios is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok.

8. Service availability and changes

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or content as Rememios develops. We do not guarantee that the Service or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from technical errors.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary to protect Rememios, its users, third parties, or the security and lawful operation of the Service, including in response to misuse or a violation of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rememios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to the Rememios Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled in connection with the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or other rights that apply to you under applicable law.
